The Hall Directory
Every institution line HILL PHOENIX NA-W INC. works is posted at one of three wickets. Brass serves the commercial and trust families. Flame serves the credit unions. Green serves the savings and thrift counter — the longest in the hall. Each line carries its own deposit number; nothing here is a duplicate under a different hat.

Counter Note
One counter, three charters — never blurred.
A commercial bank, a credit union and a savings association can sit in the same paragraph of a statute and still be three different animals. The hall keeps them at separate wickets because their rules, supervisors and histories differ — and because a question routed to the wrong window gets the wrong answer.
Unsure which wicket your matter belongs to? Approach the counter and the hall will route it — the Morris Plan file and the national-bank file are handled by different hands.
